Porque Sera?
I mostly gravitate towards people in my photographs, a human connection rather than a still landscape. Children and the elderly are especially interesting to me as they inspire a sense of capturing time: youth versus age, future versus past. It’s interesting to see how people connect and behave with one another just before taking a photograph. The idea of movement inspires me because it brings out some form of truth or at least the illusion of it, rather than someone posing which can sometimes evoke the sense of a moment being staged. This isn’t necessarily a bad technique; it’s just less real.
